Sushi (Japan)

Sushi is a traditional food from Japan. It is made using specially prepared rice mixed with vinegar, along with ingredients like raw fish, vegetables, or cooked seafood. Sushi can be shaped in many ways, such as rolls wrapped in seaweed or small pieces of rice topped with fish. To make sushi, the rice must be cooked carefully and cooled before adding vinegar. Then it is combined with fillings and shaped by hand or with a bamboo mat. Sushi became popular because it is simple, fresh, and healthy, and it reflects Japan’s connection to the sea.
